Miss Maude A. Pettey, one of our 1 e counselors, who always has a friendly smile and a word of advice or a help- ful suggestion at the request of a stu- dent. She is always ready to listen to a problem. This is just a reminder to you students that diligent study and hard work may result in being a member of Alpha Chi. Two faculty members, Mrs. Rose Lisenby and Miss Annie Lee Knox, and one student, Helen Rester are three who have attained this rank. Mr. Rice really doesn't want a chapel seat, he is just checking and making his usual rounds at registration to see that everything is kept going in order- ly fashion. A good friend to all the ex-GI's and everyone in the department of educa- tion is Dr. E. M. Bowman's secretary, Mrs. Juanita Clark. .,.,-nv- 0 4 Y,,,,,,L ,, , , I I .W Q . . fr-Af,f,wa..,Jf,-3.i1K51i ', , H IM? kbs
