THE MORONIC NEWS -By Moron News, Inc. CMND Because of the uncertainty of the war and since everything has been put on such a speedy basis, the students tespecially the seniorsb enjoy exchanging such unique popular mutterings. In the following lines we list the favorites-Cany relation to T. W. C. students, living or dead, is purely coincidentalb. Do you know why Cornel Thompson put vitamin pills in his gin? So he could build himself up while he was tearing himself down. 41-2-3- laughl. Have you heard why Dorothy R took the clock upstairs with her? Dot heard it was fast and wanted to see it run down. fDisappointment ll Joe Leonard was painting the ceiling one day and Roy Barber told him to get a'hold of the paint brush because he wished to borrow the ladder. The little Phillips took a bottle of whiskey to ged with him so he could sleep tight. Mulkey Hall inhabitants sleep with their feet bare from cover-they don't want those cold things in bed with them. Registrar Paul Crouch took a ruler to bed with him so he could see how long he slept. There was a patriotic worm fanyonej joined the Apple Corps that was on the Ram campus recently. There was once upon a time a little moron that took a bale of hay to bed with him so he could feed his nightmares. Say, have you heard the joke about the country road? It's rough! There was a young maiden from Siam, Who said to her sweetheart, young Hir-am, To kiss me, of course, you'll have to use force, BUT THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE STRONGER THAN I AM! A Campus Ram took his sugar and cream to the show because he heard they were going to have a serial. Hart and McAllister got together and cut off their fingers as a solu- tion so they could write shorthandg then cut off their arms so they could wear sleeveless sweaters. And then there's Mrs. Newlywed, who worried and worried cause hubby had gone to shoot craps and she DIDN'T know how to COOK them. tDo they really come that dumb?J
