? .fdcfminidlfralfion First having opened its doors thirty years ago, the Administration Building is one of the originals on the campus. Although the majority of the de- partments it once housed have radiated outward with the expansion of the campus, it still maintains its position as nucleus of the college. In addition to the administrative ollices it contains the Blathe- maties, Education, and Business Departments. Landmarks of Tech and the city of Lubbock are the twin towers flanking the Administration Build- ing. The east tower contains the often-heard vic- tory bells and the west tower the chimes. Page 27

The interior, however, is modern and keeps pace with the subjects taught within. Due for a thorough renova- tion this summer, the building has for years re- vealed and sometimes concealed the mysteries of chemistry to thousands of students.
