Such has been the story of Lewis R. Jones, Dean of KIen. In 1936 and 1937, Dean Jones helped rip rival defenses as Line Captain for Red Raider football teams. Then he went on to gain his INI.A. at Tech, coach at lN'It. Pleasant, and to serve with the U.S. Navy Hospital Corps. The Dean of lien is in charge of citizenship, housing, and personnel records of all I male students. Aiding the Dean of lXIen in his work is VVilliam R. Organized in 1939, it has a directorate of 33 people elected to membership by the Board of Directors of the College. Serving without any remuneration, these directors concern themselves with developing specific projects for the beneht of the college and with enlisting the interest of people throughout the state in assisting college enterprises.
