DIQDICATI ON The 1955 LA VENTANA is hereby dedicated to Texas Tech-to its present standing and its future greatness. lt is dedicated to the officials, the faculty, and finally, the students. We dedicate it to this yearis students, who can look up i'Old So-and-Son who sat next to them in Biology 131, and to next year's freshmen, who will thumb its pages with eager zest- I-lereis that cute boy in my fencing classli' or There's the doll I saw in the Union. Wonder if she's go- ing steady?,' Especially we wish to dedicate it to those students whose pictures are out of place, to those in candid shots who aren't identified, and to those whose pictures were left out of club panels. Hope it doesrft happen next year. Finally, we dedicate it to those who don't like the book, realizing that you were more or less rooked, buying it before you saw it , we sincerely hope you're in the minority. To those of you who use it for reference and canit find what- ever obscure fact you're looking for, we apologize. Hope it pleases most of you, and that there's something in it every- one likes.
