U. and his lVlaster's from Harvard in English. He teaches two English classes along with his duties as Dean. The Dean of Nlen is a member of the faculty committees on student housing, student employ- ment, social activities, and convocation. He is available as an adviser for general organizations among the men and for consultation with students concerning personal matters. Mary VV. Doak at a Christmas tea. lVlrs. Johnnye Langford was elected to succeed Mrs. Mary W. Doak as Dean of Women by the Board of Directors in May, 1945. lVlrs. Lang- ford is a member of the original Tech faculty and came to Tech from Columbia University, where she studied after graduating from the University of Texas. She received her Nlaster's degree from the University of Southern California. The Dean of VVomen is a member of the fac- ulty committees on student housing, student em- ployment, social activities, and discipline for women. She is available as an adviser for gen- eral organizations among the women and for con- sultation with students.
