Texas Association of Mexican American Medical Students The local chapter of TAMAMS serves minor- ity and disadvantaged high school and under- graduate students by exposing them to and counseling them about careers in medicine. TAMAWS seeks to establish better communi- cation between physicians and Spanish- speaking Americans.
