W' me Sv' in 5 l BIBLE CHAIR SECRETARY Mrs. Robert E. Barnhill 1KarenJ has been an active participant in developing the Bible Chair. She began working for Mont Whitson on June 15, 1954, while the chair was located in the old building at 2406 Broadway. When Goebel Music assumed the directorship in the summer of 1956, he found that Karen was an invaluable helper in moving from the old building to temporary 'headquarters' on College Avenue, and again, to the new building. Her work has consisted of avariety of activities: she has mailed the College Christian' each month, taken care of the library, typed and run off stencil work, paid the bills each month, been in charge of the Entertainment Fund, answered the phone, typed all correspondence, exams, and Sunday morning Bible Class material, made appointments for the director, sent our student directories, and greeted all Bible Chair guests. After nearly three years of 'keeping' the Bible Chair, Karen- has found it necessary to resign her position as secretary. She will be missed by all associated with the work of the chair, but especially will she be missed by those students who were constantly stopping by her office 'just to talk awhile .
