Organized in 1929 by Prof. H. E. Gibson, its director tor fifteen years, it this year started an unusually busy season with appearances at three Reformation Festivals and two radio broad- casts iirorn San Antonio. Participation in the annual MESSIAH, the Christmas Ves- pers, a two-Week tour' oi North Texas and Louisiana, and numerous Week-end trips croweded the choir's calendar. To spread the Gospel through music has been its fore- most purpose, and in doing so it has carried the name of Texas Lutheran College east, West, north, and south. BETA ALPHA SIGMA The Beta Alpha Sigma was organized by ten girls in l934 with the purpose ot bettering its members morally, intellectually, and socially. The organization has be- come deeply rooted in Texas Lutheran College campus activities. Its members are chosen for their high ideals-both scholastic and moral with an ultimate goal of high standards and lasting friendship. Each year the Beta Alpha Sigma asks another group of girls to become their sisters and continue the activities ot, their predeces- sors.
