L I STUDENT-FACULTY COUNCIL The Studentslfaculty Council promotes closer co-operation between students and faculty. All its efforts are to serve the best interests of the students in a well-rounded Christian development. By means of an open and frank all-sided discussion ot prob- lems confronting the student body or any particular group, the council furthers mutual understanding and brings reasonable Wishes and suggestions to the atten- tion of the proper authorities. Luther League, but on February 18, 1947, it was organized separately into the L. S. A., an organization designed especially for Lu- theran college students. The T. L. C. group is affiliated with the Gulf Coast Region of the L. S. A. of America. The aim of the L. S. A. is to bring the alert student lite- saving moral ideas, lite-directing purposes, lite-invigorating Christian faith, and life- lasting Christian friendships through treguent reception of Holy Communion, and through tellowshipin the L. S. A. I The L. S. A. of America promotes tour missionary endeavors in a project called Lutheran Student Action, the funds ot which are allocated for student purposes in America and abroad.
