The forty members were chosen by the director through try-outs. Membership in the second choir provides an opportunity for choral training for those students who could not be accommodated by the fifty-number limit of the first choir. The choir serves as a reserve group to replenish outgoing members of the first choir. Besides the traditional Christmas carolling, the choir activities have included several appearances during the second semester of the school year.
