Charmaine Littlefield The Beta Alpha Sigma is a social organization of girls whichhas become deeply rooted in Texas Lutheran College campus festivities during the last ten years. Its members are chosen for their high ideals-both scholastic and moral with an ultimate goal of high standards and lasting companionship. Each year the Beta Alpha Sigma asks another group of girls to become their sisters and continue the activities of their predessors. The annual parties of the organization have Won acclaim for their unique- ness and success. TAU LAMBDA CHI The Tau Lambda Chi is a non-secret, democratic fraternity whose purposes are to pro mote true Christian fellowship, and to create and provide wholesome social activitiestor the students of the college. Membership in the organization is, with only a few necessary quali fications, open to' all men students The present membership of the r ' ' 5 C . o ganization is eighty-four. During the .year the fraternity has sponsored an all-school halloween party, a smoker for the boys, and a ic ' d t l ' ' p nic an a orma banquet for the members and their guests. The motto of the organization is Esprit de Corps. The colors are scarlet and gold and the flower is the red Carnation. The official song was written by Mr. Watson and Crus Trip.
