LUTHERAN STUDENTS ASSOCIATION The Lutheran Students Association of T.L.C. was organized on February 18, 1947 The group formerly was known as the T.L.C, Luther League and was associated with the L.S.A.g however, on lanuary 21, 1947 the Luther League disbanded in favor of L.S.A., an organization designed especially for Lutheran College students. The T.L.C. group is affiliated with the Gulf Coast Region of the L.S.A. The aim of the L.S.A. is to bring to the alert student life-saving moralideas, life-directing purposes, life-invigorating Christian faith, and life-lasting Christian friendships through frequent reception oi Holy Communion, and through fellowship in L.S.A. . X The Student-Faculty Council, organized in 1936 to promote a better understanding and a closer relationship between faculty and students, has done much to help the students solve their problems. Among' other things it has made possible a Snack Bar this -year and eventually, a building for the same purpose. ti BIG srsrfzns All Sophomore dormitory girls are members of the Big Sisters. This group, which was organized in 1934, provides for a closer relationship between freshman and sophomore girls. During the year, this organization gave several parties for the Little Sisters.
