PAGE lo THE SEEIIND FDBM Tl IE Second Form started the year with the largest class in the Upper School, seven' teen in numher, under the sponsorship of Mr. Nlatheson. Early in the year, Don Miller was elected class president and Clint Booth was chosen as Second Form representa- tive on the Student Council. Booth. O'DonneH, Taylor and Young were awarded Varsity letters, and most ot the rest of the class was on one or another of the toothatt teams. Miller was the only commissioned omcer in the class this year, hut as there were many non-commissioned Second Formers, we have every hope of having more commissioned officers next year. The Sophomore Hop or Second Form dance was considered one ot the hest of the year. The Sportsmenys Chit: derived much of its inspiration and memhership from the Second Form, and several hoys of the Form were active in the History Ctuh. Although two of our memhers may go East to hoard- ing school this fall, most of the rest plan to retum next year. We will miss Ahhott and Boatwright, hut our loss will he Deerttetdvs and Choate,s gain, respectively. Altogether we feet that the Second Form has made an excellent record this year in everything that we have done. and we hope to hetter the record next year.
