Board of Trustees S Jerome Moore, Lorin A. Boswell, and President Sadler in the October, 1958 Board of Trustees Meeting. The Board of Trustees of Texas Christian University determines the general policies under which the University operates. The Board meets semi-annually, in March and October, to select new members and to decide upon legislation and plans for the school. Board members are selected by a nominations committee appointed by the chair- man. This committee makes its report to the Board of Trustees and then the Board votes on the nominations. Since its founding in 1875, TCU has been most fortunate in having some of the foremost citizens in the Southwest on its Board of Trustees.
