Groups Compete at Playday Playday is an event sponsored by the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority where the guys compete in various fun events instead of the girls. This year, the sorority invited non-greeks to participate in a separate division and compete against the fraternity men for the title of Mr. Playday. Groups that took part in the fun included the Ags, ATOs, band, Delts, Kappa Sigs, Lambda Chis, ROTC and Sigma Chi’s. Awards were announced at a Pub night the same day where the ADPi's made a profit of $280 that was donated to their national philanthropy, the Ronald McDonald Houses. Winners were: Greek events — Kappa Sigs, non-greek events — Ags, and Mr. Playday which went to ROTC’s Nathan Prieto. Clockwise: John Harris helps Karen Cumberland with her makeup and Debbie Mathis screams that she could have done a better job in the coaches’ lip-stick-smear event. Greeks fight over the ice bucket as the music stops in this version of musical chairs, Opposite page clockwise: The Delts tug against the Kappa Sigs and lose while the Lambda Chis beat the Sigs and the Ags struggle against ROTC. Scott Gilbert and Roland Perez peel and eat a banana without using their hands; and Mr. Playday con- testants line up to answer a question. (Nathan Prieto, the winner, is stand- ing second from the right.) 28
