JOY PEARSON . . . Joy goes about her business as secre- tary-treasurer of the Student Council with calmness. Her innate graciousness has won her many friends. CLARENCE JOHNSON . , , Quiet and reserved. Clarence spends a great deal of his time taking care of the thousand and one small details others hate to do. He is vice-president of the Student Council and an honor student. VERNON HATCH . . . We find music wherever we find Vernon, and vice-versa. As leader of the AStl Bluenotes, he has helped make successful many, many college dances. JACKIE OUALLINE ... Jackie keeps one of the highest scholastic records on the campus and yet manages to be active in extra- curricular activities also. Her cheerful- ness influences all those around her. ALAN SHUDDE . . . Alan greets everyone with a big smile and good-will absolutely bursts from him. One of A Ts favorite Aggies, he is president of the Aggie Club and treas- urer of Alpha Tau Alpha, honorary agricultural fraternity.

JOHN LEE CONQUEST. . . J. Lee assumed one of the hardest jobs on campus when he was elected president of the senior class by students who had faith in his leadership. He has not disappointed them. JAMES MULKEY . . . James became active in campus activities as soon as he arrived at A l and has not stopped since. He Is vice-president of the Aggie Club, treasurer of Alpha Tau Alpha, and social chairman of his dormitory council. GILBERJ TAYLOR ... As president of Alpha Phi Omega, Gilbert has the responsibility of directing the members of this ser- vice fraternity in their work. His work here has won him the campus recognition he deserves. BERTHA CENTER . . . As head cheerleader, Bertha has unselfishly given of her boundless energy and vitality. To work with her is to make play out of hard jobs. JOYCE CHANDLER . . . Joyce has displayed the same conscientious willingness to help in her role as female representa- tive-at-large to the Student Coun- cil as she has in all her other activi- ties. Her air of quiet gracious- ness marks her as a true lady.

RUTH CARLISLE . . . Good student, good worker, good friend . , . that's Ruth. Her funlovlng person- ality has endeared her to everyone on campus. HARRY ZENNER . . . Harry's ability and resourcefulness inspired his fellow students to elect him president of the Student Council. His friendliness and humor are the essence of the A l campus itself. karl McKinney,., As a member of the A Cappeila Choir and the Madrigalians, Karl has made a name for himself in musical circles. He never refuses a request for help on a program, al- ways does a wonderful job. KAYE ANNE LLOYD ... You name it, Kaye has helped with it. She has her finger in almost every A l pie and in addition can out-work just about everyone on campus. She served this year as chairman of the Student Union Governing Board. JACK CHISUM . . . Jack is ouiet, but always busy. A hard worker, he is male representative-at- large to the Student Council,
