Faculty members of the Texas College of Arts and Industries are not always as dignified and seri- ous as we so frequently see them. In these pictures we see them in some of their most characteristic and some rather unconventional poses. Dr. Kriege! and Mr. Mclntire swap hats, giving a sort of Laurel and Hardy effect . . . Mr. Peurifov, head of the Engineering Department, demonstrates the more intricate uses of the slipstick, proving that so much water can be pumped so high in so long . . . Buster Moore, manager of the text book room, offers his services willingly to Miss Malone as well as to all the students of the college . . . Miss Bible’s Home Eco. students learn the art of fitting their own clothes as a part of the well-planned Home Economics program . . . Dr. Nierman works dili- gently in his laboratory in the new science building . . . The class in aeronautics under the CAA pro- gram seem unusually absorbed in their work . . . Mr. Sinclair appears a bit weary as he stares over his glasses at the end of the day , , . Mr. Micheal didn't even get to finish what he started to say. . . . Drs. Micheal and Cross meet for the afternoon conffab minus Dr. Nierman . . . Librarian Allen as usual is probably saying, “Let's get quiet in here, please.” People go through registration and by the end of the day look very, very weary.
