8 Campus he Texas A M campus is home to both construction and controversy. The new former students center, engineering-physics building and new chemistry building were completed during the year, which also saw the renovation of the A.P. Beutel Health Center. Six sculptures from a traveling art exhibit met with mixed reaction from stu¬ dents, faculty and those who were simply shocked at seeing a Fiberglass wolf, trum¬ pet-touting frog and other modern art plopped in the middle of the usually conser¬ vative campus. TOP: The Sterling C. Evans Library has had two additions made to it. ABOVE: Probably the most familiar building on campus, the Academic Building marks the heart of the campus.
