College of Architecture and Environmental Design To compensate for the fact that architects must now be prepared to design complete cities instead of just buildings and houses, the College of Architecture has become the only one in the state to offer a graduate degree in urban and regional planning. City planning also helps to maintain the balance of environ¬ mental changes such as work patterns and family relationships. These have become part of the architect’s problems also. Students in the College of Architecture are challenged to maximum creative potential. They will become aware of the never-ending process of learning and creativity. 21
