This is the 1969 AGGIELAND. We have tried to represent the past year at A M and, through pictures, enable you to recall things that you did as a student this past year. In addition, we hope that, many years from now, looking through these pages will again bring back memories of the 1968-69 school year at Texas A AA. This idea was foremost in our mind throughout the year and we hope we have succeeded. There are many people who have contributed greatly to this yearbook. The editors of each section did outstanding jobs and deserve special mention. Mike Wright did a fine job of photography throughout the book and edited the opening section. Jimmy Mudd wa s in charge of activities and did an outstanding job. Doug Page was responsible for the military and administration sections. Alfredo Gonzales served as editor of the sports section. Charles Prendergast edited the civilian section. The professional clubs and student organizations section was headed up by John Friebele, while Harry Polly was in charge of hometown clubs. Rob Trimble handled the index section. Our business manager, Jerry Dollinger, deserves special credit for the hard work he did this year. Others who helped our entire staff this year were Mr. Jim Lindsey and Mr. Lane Stephenson of University Information, who supervised our work. The employees of Student Publications helped on countless occasions and should get a big thanks. They include Mrs. Cecilia Prihoda, Mrs. Polly Patranella, Mrs. Wanda Allison and Mrs. Charlotte McCarroll. Mrs. Helen Martin and her University Studios deserve an extra special thanks for the special photography and their fine cooperation. Taylor Publishing Co. publishes the yearbook and assisted with several ideas which we incorporated this year. This is not a complete list, but each of the people above earned this recognition.
