The opening of the new Dairy Husbandry a n d Biochemistry Building is a typical example of the progressive agriculture school. Fifteen departments give students a wide choice for training in agri¬ culture. Graduates in agriculture have won fame throughout the world, and have made many contribu¬ tions to the feeding and clothing of many nations. Realizing that every man needed to receive training in the liberal arts, brought about the founding of the School of Arts and Sciences in 1924. Since that date the school has grown into one of the largest on the campus.
