A M COLLEGE OF TEXAS COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS Co-Editors Lolan M. Pullen Harry G. Tilley We, as co-editors of the ’55 AGGIELAND, wish to express our appreciation for the great honor and privilege of compiling this annual. It is almost an impossible task to adequately represent every phase of activity at A M and we rea.lize that we have fallen short of this goal. However, every effort has been made to achieve perfection and we hope that this yearbook will help every Aggie to retain some pleasant memo¬ ries of his years spent here. We also want to thank the section editors--Jerry Pyle, Kurt Nauck, Bill Utsman, James Cook, Bill Fuller, Floyd Trim, and Bill Meals; the photographers--Seymour Smith, Paul Tulenko, and the Aggieland Studio; and the entire AGGIEFAND staff for their vital contributions to the pub¬ lication of this book. Special thanks should be given to Bill Meals who undertook the formation of a civilian section showing the non-military life on the campus. Many people outside of the student body have also given us valuable help and advice. In particular, the members of the Student Publications Office and the art department of the Taylor Publishing Company have al¬ ways been available with ideas and services. Without the aid and co-operation of everyone, the 1955 AGGIELAND could not have been published and we wish to offer them our heartfelt thanks. Harry G. Tilley Lolan M. Pullen
