Co-Editors Allan H. Hohlt Barent C. Dutchl:r We, representatives of the Class of ' 5U, sincerely wish that we could have done a more nearly acceptable job in the presentation of the 1953-5U school year. Showing life at A M in a single yearbook is next to impossible, as any Aggie knows. Therefore, our objective has been to picture A M as It was in the past, compared to A M as we know it today and as we will remember it. |yf|||jf i ' V§f, Sf j|l!||i A ; w Without the help and cooperation of our section editors—Bill Bowdoin, Bill Griggs, Harold Kupfer, Paul Roper, Harry Tilley, Ted Uptmore—and our photographers—especially Seymour Smith—this book would have been an impossibility. Our deepest appreciation to these men, and especially to Bill Griggs, who is taking over the Sports Section in March and starting from scratch, did an admirable job. We would also like to mention each individual on the staff, but their work speaks for itself. Putting out the AGGIELAND involves many problems and barriers. Help from others is necessary; that help was more than adequately provided by Carl Jobe of the Office of Student Publications And Tom Murray of the Taylor Publishing Company. Our gratitude to these men cannot be expressed in words. Our thanks to everyone responsible for making the 195b AGGIELAND possible. t Allan H. Eohlt Barent C. Butcher
