THE REGISTRAR’S OFFICE H. L. HEATON Compiling and distributing daily information to students, prospective employers, and outside agen cies is just one of the many jobs carried by the Registrar’s Office, besides its primary responsibility of keeping records on all past and present students of the college. It is its duty, also, to print and issue official bulletins, catalogues, and directories of the college. This office has been helpful in supplying informa ' tion to the Army, Navy, and Marine Corps concerning Aggies entering the service. Directing this work is H. L. Heaton, appointed Acting Registrar in the absence of Lt. Colonel E. J. Howell, who was called to active service in 1941. Under the capable guidance of Mr. W. H. Hoffimann and his assistants the various financial activities of the college are conducted. The fiscal department provides a depository for students’ funds and handles the purchases for the various departments of the college. Besides handling all the financial matters of the college and its extramural activities the department has established and supervises the fiscal departments of the three branch colleges. Extremely popular around the fifth of the moath, this office handles all student labor pay checks and gladly accepts all maintenance payments.
