THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS THE WELFARE of the students of A. M. College rests in the hands of members of the Board of Directors, whose actions have indicated that they have this responsibility foremost in their minds. The rapid growth of the student body has brought about many problems, and the Board has met this growth with expansion of college facilities and has solved all accompanying problems to the best interest of the students. The members of the Board are appointed by the Governor for six year terms. They are: F. M. Law, Houston, Chairman; W. G. Lacy, Waco, Vice-President; H. C. Schuhmacher, Houston; G. R. White, Brady; R. W. Briggs, San Antonio; H. L. Kokernot, Alpine; A. H. Demke, Stephenville; E. J. Kiest, Dallas; and Joe Utay, Dallas. Mrs. Melle Williamson is acting secretary to the Board. F. M.
