Junior College Holds First Commencement For the first time in the his- tory of Texarkana, there will be a real college commencement program presented. T. S. T. C. and Uni- versity of Colorado, Florine There are eight graduates in this first graduating class. This is an excellent record for the first year of a Junior College. Real college caps and gowns will be worn. A program to be en- joyed by all has been arranged. The Texarkana Junior College is greatly indebted to these- stu- dents who are first to receive the 'Fexarkana Junior College di- ploma. They were Willing to risk the loss of credits in the Durham, transferred from C. I. A., Denton, Muriel Young, Tex- arkana, transferred from Sim- mons College and Ouachita Col- lege. V . Qi. It was their willingness to sacri- fice if necessary that made it possible for the College to receive the rating as a Junior College of the Fiist Class in its first year.
