I The Hazelmen got off to a flying start by beating Ipswich 12 to 0, then being the underdog went on to beat Chelmsford 21 to 7. Due to a last minute touchdown, they lost the game against Burlington 6 to 12. The team went on to pile up a series of victories defeating Ayer 40 to '7 , Dracut 13 to 0, Howe 32 to 6. In our traditional game against Wilmington we defeated them 14 to 0. At the victory dance after this game the trophies for the most outstanding players were given to Richard O'Nei1 of Tewksbury and Ross Coombs of Wilmington. 61 7
