Class Future As I slip through my old scrapbook, I can see by its yellowed and frayed pages that it's been almost thirty years since Graduation Night. That night when Bobby Allen forgot his fare- well speech and groped for words. Many of my former classmates have become well-known authors. Berry Trull and Edmund Babicz have just had published, The Key to Curly Hair . Mary Penney, Marie Clarke, Cathy Martell and Diane Wilkenson collaborated on the textbook Business Love Can be Fun . Noted psychologists Marie Sullivan, Mary Ann D'Entremont and Cynthia White have now sold over a million copies of their latest publication Does Your Child Hate School? On the local scene Sally Curtis and Judy Ebinger are both conducting classes on the Tewks- bury Police Department on Billy Club Twirling. Walter Thompson has become chief stamp licker for the Tewksbury bank owned by Linda Read. A newly opened hotel is being admirably run by Ellen Hibbard, Nancy Aspell, Dorothy Lacey Donna Leddy, Patricia Pappas and Mary Leddy. It's called the Quiet Woman Inn. Scattered around the world are Tom Burris now Admiral of his own fleet of tugboats, Carol Martell in Hollywood, she is head waitress in The Best Pizza Place in Town owned by Charlie Costa, Phil Decarolis, Dick Grenno and Ann Pozzi. Head meatball maker is Nancy Tonello. Frank Daley now in India, is in the process of selecting his thirty-seventh harem girl. Before leaving our beloved Tewksbury he took time to initiate a new Fraternity. The charter members are Dick Carey, Frank Colontunio, Dick O'Neil, Fred Gath, Richard Gath, Herb Roberts and William Tuohy. They call themselves The Beligerent Bachelors of America . In New York City this year some familiar names appear on the list of entries for the talking marathon. They are Dorothy Lombardi, Virginia Pennelli, Shirley Stone, Lillian Bell, Fran Basile, Theresa Manning and Connie Marsh. Good luck girls, and may the best mouth win. Doing government work now are Mary Jane Farley and Bev Ebinger. They are the only women in the United States Mint. Recently I read that Louie Lavallee, Ronald James, Roy Pennock and John Sears have grad- uated from the secondary school they decided to attend. Alcatraz, I believe. At home again, Regina Cooper, Pat Hickey, Nancy Smith, Helen Caster and Prudence Smith now head the Tewksbury Youth Center. One of their services is a lonely hearts club for girls less fortunate than themselves. Also giving her time is Pat Leahy who has revolutionized base- ball with her new square ball for square athletes. Richard Avery is conducting a Physical Ed- ucation Class for building bigger bodies. Conducting classes for elocution and English grammar are Mary Jane Donahue and Ann Kennedy, respectively. Our youth center certainly does leave little to be desired says superintendent of schools, I ack Gillis. The architect for the building was Dan Mclaughlin, and the interior decoration was done by Delores Dixon, Judy Gale and Judy Scott. Yes, the students of the class of 5'7 have gone far with the help of a little imagination and a lot of help from God. Let us hope that He will continue lending the needed helping hand. 39
