KH The l1ne up fo1 the flrst game was as follows L E W Upham Mo7er L G B McNeal C H Moore R E L Crary R T C RG ADaleQB Wlohoe RHB HCraneLHB O F B W Burns B1lls Bums was elected captaln The opemng game of the season was played wlth Belt on the local f1eld on Oct 8 The f1eld was muddy and a half snow half 1a1n was fall1ng Teton outclassed Belt on every pomt of the game Tlme after t1me Belt called tlme out to brlng then knocked out men back 1nto the game The second squad was substltuted 1n last quarter Phe fmal scoxe was 54 to 0 1n Teton s favor In thlq game Ick Llane thlew h1s knee out whlch la1d h1m up for three weeks The second game was played the followmg week Wlth Comad at Con rad Conrad had a green team and an easy uctory was expected but W were fooled The same llne up was used except that O Dav1s was 1n Crane s place at R H B After the flrst few downs of play It could be seen that Teton had no easy v1cto1y When Conrad had the ball they ham mered Teton s l1ne 1ncessantly The fmal score was 39 to 0 1n Tetons favor Th1s was Crary s blg day at end He snatched passes from any place IH the a1r and h1s 65 yard 1un for a touchdown was a feature of the game The thlrd game of the season was played Wlth C C H S at Ft Benton Crane was back ln h1s pos1t1on at halfback Th1s was the closest that Teton ever came to be1ng beaten durmg the season The scole at the end of the f1rst half was 8 to 6 1n Benton s favor In the last half Teton rallled and held Benton down to nothmg and scored two mole touchdowns The fmal score was 19 to 8 1n favor of Teton Crane hurt h1s leg aga1n and Dav1s was substltuted The next game was played wlth Conrad here Th1s was our hardest L T W Saterhe Ex enson ter and ran the regulars ln at the startlng of the second Dav1s was play 1ng Crane s pos1t1on Nelthel team had scored at the end of the f1rst half In the last half Teton plled up 39 po1nts and held Conrad down to a goose egg Flnal score 39 to 0 m Teton s favor The closmg game of football was played Wlth C C H S on the local f1eld on Nov 8 The f1eld had to be llned Wlth ashes on account of the f1eld be1ng covered wlth snow It was a fa11ly easy uctory for Teton IH splte of the snow and sllppery f1eld Crane was back m h1s pos1t1on at half Dav1s playlng the last quartel Fmal score 33 to 0 1n favol of Teton The substltutes that wele used durln the season and thelr po 1t1ons a1e as follows H Jourdana1s F B E Burns L H B O Dav1s R H B D Moore Q B G Radcllff C G Trescott R G H Ble k L G Helme R T J Slanger L T G Stokes R E L G166 1 I I Only ten men recelved lettels because of the fact that nelther Dav1s no1 Crane played enough quarters to recene a lett r LETTERMEN W Upham L E A fast end who could be depended on to break up opponents mterterence W M0791 L T A new man at the pos txon but could be d p nded on to do h1s Shale l4l'm l l' H W - V W ' ' ' ' - ' ' . BOYS BASKETBALL Basket ball for the s ason of 24 2:1 was staitcd tuo we ks aftei football was ovei With fix of th old flrst squad men gone a whole new team had to be organized Another set back that had to be mast 1 ed was the mumps which came unasked Coach Williamson picked a team the second piactice His pick was Dean Crlttendon and Howard Jouidonnais as forwards Lvall Craiy center William Burns and Ohvei Ex enson as guards The team was put thlough drills of passmg and receiving the ball signals and basket The opening game was played with Comad at Comad Dec 12 Teton did not show up as well as expected Conrad had a defense that Teton could not penetrate The final score was 33 to 8 in Conrad s fax or The second game was played with Power on the local floor Decembei 18th Teton made up foi the11 defeat in the Conrad game by romping ovei Power 92 to 2 Crane was on the lineup haxmg, iecoveied fiom having his tonsils removed Ciane played iight guard Buins was shift ed to center and Crarv played in the last half The third game was played vsith the Alumni on December 29th The team had bioken training, during Chl1StlTldS X2.C3.tl0I1 and was not in veiy good shape The game was very close ending, with the Alumni on the long end of the 29 to 26 scoie 1 c Boys' Basketball Tc-am 3 ,- 7 1-3 y w .
