GLEE LLUB What is home without music has often been said and it applies to the school as vxell because is the school not a home by p1oXy We have been verv fortunate in having a great deal of musical talent in the school this year and more so to have had as good a director as Mr Williamson Every Monday and Friday morning fiom 8 40 to 9 15 was devoted to singing by the Whole school Tuesdays and Thursdays Weie reserved best music this year was furnished by the male octette which consisted oi Bernard 0 Neil and Patilck Duffy first tenors Ralph Rains and Jack Radcliffe second tenors Chai les Guthrie and Robeit Dow first basses and last but not least William Elliott and f'eorge Tackson second basses All credit should not go to the boys however because the girls gave an Operetta called the Wild Pose They also sang at the Teachers In stitute Senior Plav and the Declamatory Contest The boys too sang at the latter ex ent Doi othy Longmuir 90 9 'Y L u - ,- V ' n - ' - ,L Y , ' 1 . 1 for the girls while on Wednesdays the boys tried their skill.
