I RAYMOND T MALLEY AB ME Superintendent of Schools To the Class of 1955 For most of you school has been an integral part of your lives since the time when you were six years old It is even probably difficult for you to recall the time when you were not a student School is largely something you have taken for granted as you do home church people a d life itself Now after twelve years as you approach your final days as students in the public schools of the Town of Plymouth it is fitting that some thought be given to evaluating the results of this portion of your lives mentals I hope but as a means to read fine thmgs to express beautiful thoughts and to know that in the fundamentals of life the theme of ones happiness can not be obtained by subtracting from others and that the way to multiply the value of ones possessions us to divide them with others I hope you have learned geography and history but only that to world knowledge may be added world sympathy and understanding of the present in order to prolect a finer future I hope you have learned citizenship to keep strong the ideals of liberty and lustice and develop in you a generation of responsible citizens I hope you have learned science as the handmate of religion the priceless worth of a sound healthful body the Ioys of beauty and truth as revealed in art and music These are the real fundamentals of education out of which come the more abundant life for character is higher than intellect and the harvest of the spirit IS infinite I extend my best wishes to each of you Sincerely yours MR RAYMON D MALLEY 6 't . , . ., . . ll ll ' ' II ,ll ll III ll 'II n Il ' ll ' I I I .
