Each person entering the doors of Terry Sanford Senior High during the 1968-1969 school year has wit- nessed and been a part of a phenomenon that has never been equaled in the history of our outstanding school. The student body, led by the Class of ’69 has exhibited a spirit unparalleled by any other in each activity that was undertaken. This outstanding characteristic of the school year presented the 1969 LaFamac staff with the task and challenge of producing a yearbook that would be worthy of the enthusiasm shown by the students. In setting out to accomplish this feat, the staff at- tempted to capture this spirit within the pages of this. the 1969 LaFamac, so that it would be a true history of what transpired during this wonderful year. We have worked with you, the students, in mind, trying to present the events of the last nine months in a manner that will enable you to relive the excitement, joys, heartbreaks, and emotions each time you thumb through these pages. We have enjoyed doing this, we have enjoyed being a part of the phenomenon, but whether we have accomplished our purpose is to be decided by you. Penney Makris, Editor Reggie Barton, Asst. Editor 334
