Because of her kindness and graciousness to all who know her we are honored to dedicate our 1958 Chieftain to Mrs. II. Terry Parker. Besides many other activities, Mrs. Parker teaches a Sunday School class of 17 year old girls at the Southside Baptist Church, plays the piano, and takes a great interest in cooking. In addition to a combined auditorium and gym, the Parker house, a dormitory for boys, was recently completed at the Baptist Home for Children. But we are most grateful to Mrs. Parker for her most generous donation of sixty band uniforms for the Terry Parker High Band. We can’t thank her enough. Page Nine
