A wild cheer arises from a group of purple and white class spectators. This organized cheering section, the Pep Club, helps to boost school spirit. The Pep Club members in their uniforms of a purple wool jumper and white blouse for the girls and a purple vest for the boys, provide a colorful I f group of enthusiasts. As an organization, it is a mainstay of football and basketball games. Its activities include selling concessions. The lobby of the new gym provides a modern area to sell in. Pep Club this year provided the extra service of a coat check used during basketball games. Among other things, the members act as ushers and serve lunch to the visiting team. Along with the Lettermen's Club, the -, organization sponsors the Lettermen's Ball as . f .ijgfi 'W K Y s ' Bw., ,,,, I part of the Homecoming festivities.
