Excitement prevailed when Tom Ketchum became the 1966 Fl-IA King. The Sands of Time from Glendive provided the music for this gala affair. Two district FPLA offices went to the Terry Chapter. At the District Five conven- tion held in Sidney, Sandra Corneliusen was elected vice-president, and Connie Undem won the office of secretary. An active FHA organization staged a cake auction and sold stationery to raise funds. A wild cheer arises from a group of purple and white class spectators. This organized cheering section, the Pep Club, helps to boost school spirit. The Pep Club members in their uniforms of a purple wool jumper and white blouse for the girls and a purple vest for the boys, provide a colorful I f group of enthusiasts. As an organization, it is a mainstay of football and basketball games. Its activities include selling concessions. The lobby of the new gym provides a modern area to sell in. Pep Club this year provided the extra service of a coat check used during basketball games. Among other things, the members act as ushers and serve lunch to the visiting team. Along with the Lettermen's Club, the -, organization sponsors the Lettermen's Ball as . f .ijgfi 'W K Y s ' Bw., ,,,, I part of the Homecoming festivities. Pep Club supports the cheerleaders at home game. 48
