Meant An Exciting Week End A bonfire, snake dance, and cheering Terry High School students began the l966 homecoming week end. After the effigy burning of a Longhorn, Coach Polich and the cheerleaders led the snake dance. ln the invasion of downtown Terry, cheers rang through the streets. The parade began the festivities on Saturday morning, October l. The freshmen class won first prize in the float competition and the sopho- mores coped second place with Bury 'Em. The big game with Wilbaux got underway in the afternoon. Half-time activities were enhanced with the crowning of the l966 Homecoming Queen. Diane Hubing was crowned by Captain Eddie Bray and presented with roses and an autographed football. The Queen's Court consisted of Lonna Ketchum and Barbara Watts. Each received a corsage. The football game ended in defeat for Terry. The annual Homecoming Dance was the con- cluding event of the day. Amid yellow and orange crepe paper streamers, the students danced to the music of the Meltones from Miles City. The freshmen float won first prize. QATJER 39
