The 1953-1954 basketball season was a successful one as the Terriers had a 18-8 season record and placed third in conference play with a record of 10-4. The Terriers placed second in the District Tourney, being defeated by Ekalaka after defeating them twice in con- ference play. The Terriers went on to take fourth in the Divisional Tourney being downed twice by Savage who placed second. Dennis Ross. a sophomore was selected on the all district first team as forward: Tom George received a choice for forward on the second tearng both boys received honorable mention last year. Don Lee received honorable mention also. Tom George led the Terriers in scoring, totaling 309 points or an average of 12.4 points per game. Mike Cleveland was second highest witha total of30O points and an average of 12 points a game. Don Lee finished with 261 and Den- nis Ross connected for 244 points.
