She first taught most of the Seniors reading in the sixth grade and followed us through the ninth grade teaching us both reading and English. In those four years, she gave generously of her time and wisdom to help us in any way possible. Words are a poor substitute with which to express our sincere respect and admiration for her. H. A. She was awarded the D. A. R. Good Citizen Award Mickie is the class editor of the Annual, a member of Student Council, F. T. A. , Library Club, and Debate Club. She serves on the Governor's Staff and Assistant Floor Leader of the House at Youth Assembly. He is also treasurer of the Hi-Y, and is a member of the track team. He is a member of the One-Act Play Cast and DebatefTeam. Richard was awarded the boy's D. A. R. Good Citizenship Award. Senior Superlotive Joy Rainey Sewing as the President of the Senior Class IS Joy Rainey. Joy was chosen Miss T. H. S. and the Hi-Y Sweetheart. She is Sports Editor of the Annual and secretary of the T -Club and Beta Club. Joy is a member of the varsity basketball team, F. H. A., Tri-Hi-Y, and Student Council. 41 Senior Superlotive Suson Ross This year Susan Ross is the Business Manager of the Annual. She was chosen to be on the Terrell Homecoming Court. Susan serves as secretary of the Senior Class and the Library Club. She is the First Vice-President of F. H. A. , and reporter of the Beta Club. Susan is a member of the Debate Club and Tri-Hi-Y.
