.5 CHERYL STANBURY is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas R. Stanbury. She has received many awards for leadership and scholarship. She received the University of Georgia Certificate of Merit, the Presbyterianjunior Fellowship Award, and the Georgia Tech Science Scholar Award. As a member of the Honor Society, she served as treasurer her junior year and president her senior year. A member of the Tri-Hi-Y for four years, Cheryl served as vice-president her junior year and treasurer her senior year. During Her junior year Cheryl was elected president vice-president of the Student Council, and then she was elected president her senior year. Cheryl was elected vice-president of the Latin Club her freshman year. As a member of the Letter Club for three years, she served as secretary-treasurer her junior year. Cheryl has been a varsity cheerleader for four years, sewing as co-captain her senior year. In liteary events, Cheryl placed third in region for girl's oral interpretation.
