It is always diffult to make this selection but we feel this individual is most deserving. The staff of the Aquila has chosen as the recipient of this years dedication a teacher who has been part of Terrell Academy since its beginning, one who has favorable academic influence on most of us, and one who has struggled with us, and encouraged us. Not only has he been successful in the classroom, but also he has been successful in athletics , having coached both basketball and baseball teams with outstanding records For these and other contributions to the total program we dedicate the 1977 AQUILA to Coach Don Daniel EAG -4-L5 sa! is Qi QW Q me QW ' I Nl ' Mary!! .wx Q Nmqwxgva Q ss + M3335 as Q X xxx fx XX M 3 Q: Q X ., TX: Q 19:2-'iQ?iif55X'iv5?Qs iz? We hope that you have enjoyed the events of the year 1976-1977, as you have relived each of them throughout the pages of this yearbook. It was with deep regret that I transferred to a school in Tennessee in the middle of the year, leaving the yearbook staff to complete the work. I would like to express my gratitude to all of the fantastic staff members , with whom I had the pleasure of working. This staff must have been one of the best qualified, most imaginative and hardest working of any we have had. The staff and I would like to express our appreciation to the student body of Terrell Academy who without their support of the many events, literary, sports, clubs-this book would not have been possible, and to the administration, faculty whose leadership and cooperation was given at all times . This is a year that I will long remember and it is my hope that this yearbook will recall the memories to each of you. 1. Angela Newton, editor, and Mrs. B1-im, advisor, discuss some of the problems of this years Yearbook. 174 X YEARBOOK STAFF ASSISTANT EDITORS Pam Foster so E-is ff if A ...A ., 1 Pam Foster served as Assistant Editor of the Yearbook, and as Editor of the sports section.
