P i TERRELL ACADEMY The Terrell Academy Patrons is a fund raising organi- zation of Terrell Academy. Their two biggest projects ire the Halloween Carnival and the annual Chamber of Iommerce dinner. This year the T.A.P. bought all of .he equipment for the new home-ec. department. The T. LP . meets once a month to discuss problems ofthe school. There is also a program at each meeting . Some if these programs include a talk on drug abuse, home- ec. class fashion show and One Act Play. A student deprived of a good library program is a student deprived of a good education. Our library has a selection of 4,205 books which meets the requirement for accreditation. The elementary section has just added a collection of books called DlSNEY'S WONDERFUL WORLD OF KNOWLEDGE which have stimulated the interests of younger students. Nlrs. Brim, our librarian, is efficient and effective in co-ordinating the books used by all three school levels. For the first time Terrell Academy students are offered art. Our two artist are Susan Lofton and Nlarshall Smith. Susan is here by grants from the Georgia Counsel for the Arts and the National Endowment for Arts.
