NCLI H and RE DING Literature, taken in all its bearings, forms the grand line of demarcation between the hu- man and the animal kingdoms.. A summer reading program was added to our English and Reading department. The high school students are required to read certain books during the summer. Sixth and seventh grade English is taught by Mrs. Moore, eighth grade English by Mrs. Hathcock and Mrs. Brim, English land ll, by Mrs. Harris, and English Ill and IV, by Mrs. West. The junior high take reading under Mrs. Bar- field. They work in the SAR reading lab and have a pilot librar ta library in which they se- lect their own booisd They also write lime- ricks and Haikus.
