Dozens of them loomed on our horizon. lu the professional world, the world of husiness, among our trades- men. on our plantations and farms, in civic life, home life, religious life, and in educa- tional circles many graduates of T. H. S. seemed deserving ofthe honor. We chose, therefore, to dedicate our hook enbcafion to all loyal alumni who have given us a priceless heritage in education and to all worthy students of today and tomorrow who will hring honor to T. H. S. We have pictured the student of yester- day iu maturity, symholizing achievement through learningg the student of today in youth, hopefully looking toward success to- morrow hecause of learning: and the stu- dent of tomorrow in childhood, eagerly curious to learn those things that will open to him the new and exciting world of the future.
