Kurtz. seventh grade The Seventh Grade Class consists of 8 boys and T8 girls. ln spite of its few numbers, the class has achieved many things this past year. First, the Severlth Grade float tied for first place with the G.A.A. at the Homecoming football game. Marianne Jordan was chosen as candidate for queen. On December l2, the social studies class presented a program at the P.T.A. meeting. The Seventh Grade, with the help of Mrs. Carlton and under David Kipp's leadership, took an active part. The program centered around the countries of the Orient-Japan, China, and Korea. A movie was shown on Japan and the members had an exhibit on these countries. Sue Schmithorst and Marianne Jordan participated in the Variety Show at the Senior Carnival. They presented a satire on the balcony scene from Shake- speare's Romeo and Juliet. Many of the Seventh Grade students took part in the annual Grade School Christmas program. David Kipp represented his class on the ,Junior High Basketball team. page thirty-three
