He has a great sense of humor and laughs at almost anything, this usually gets him into a iam. Speak- ing of trouble, Dan seems to be always in the thick of things. In Dan's mind the other pasture is the greenest. He is also noted for his distinctive voice, which he will exhibit at almost any time or place. Taking many solo parts, Dan has added much to our musical productions. He was especially good as a minstrel in the '44 Spring Revue, although we could hardly recognize him in blackface. An easy going fellow who does as he pleases when he pleases, Tom gets along with everybody. Never hurried or excited by anything lexcept girls occasion- allyl, he is steadfast in his beliefs and will always speak up when he feels his rights are being tampered with. Never failing to be in the middle of any worthwhile activities, he is captain of the football team and business manager of the annual. JOSEPH VICTOR SCHOTT sent our school. Joe was capable of vaulting eleven feet at Columbus last summer. No wonder his head is In the clouds, and especially since he was called into service in the Air Corps. Although we missed Joes activity especially in sports, we were proud to have him repre

A. A. 3, 45 English Club 4. Small but able and competent, Ruth's a cheerful addition to the senior class. As an enthusiastic salesman for the annual she proved her ability by hitting a new high. Always witty and gay, Ruth shows her school spirit by attending every football and basketball game at home or away. This dark haired, blue eyed little senior is a live wire and always ready to lend a helping hand. Rulh's family is very well represented in the armed service, with two sailors and a soldier. Destination--that side door of the colony building and the quickest way home. This low-voiced, little blonde is one of the inseparable trio who are always trying to talk themselves out of trouble. She's one of the sane senior girls who do not appreciate girls' basketball, and one of Miss Gc1llagher's faithful commercials. Musically minded. June is a friend to be depended upon and will be remembered for her frankness lright, boys'?l and clever remarks. June is also interested in athletics5 she has been a member of G. A. A. her junior and senior years and she was on the honor team in basketball and baseball. Brains are mixed with the brawn, as he passed the Reserve Air Corps examination with one of the highest grades in Cincinnati. He is president of the senior class and the Activity Board. Eileen, usually smiling and quiet, often entertains her friends by playing the piano and singing, as she knows the words of nearly every popular song. Since she is proficient at dictation, she leads the shorthand class in speed. We predict that she will someday be a private secretary to some important captain of industry, for her commercial studies will give her a good background for stenographic work. Not long ago, Eileen surprised her classmates by becoming engaged to a resident of a rival camp, Loveland. Her lovely diamond is the pride of all her friends. 28 fjif
