GIRLS' VARSITY CAGERS TAKE PL GET 5th CGNSECUTIVE CCS BERTI-I The girls' varsity contained its winning ways, winning the NPL championship with an 11-2 record and going on to the CCS playoffs for the fifth straight year, in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year. Led by returning senior starters Nancy Juergens and Jenny Champ- neys, as well as the highly talented group of sophomores. The team coasted to a NPL co-championship, Champneys and Juergens shared M.V.P. honors, while four of the starting five made all-league honors.
