124 ,wWgMgWw,,,r A VARSITY BUYS' CAGERS MAKE 1982 PLAYCJF FS The Varsity Boys, Cagers had a roller- coaster years, dropping their first two games but regrouping to win the Ander- son Tournament to Live Oak. The Tigers, with three returning starters, fielded a vastly improved squad over last year, compiling a 7-7 record 1 which was good for a third place finish in the N.P.L. and a berth in me N.P.L. T Playoffs. The Tigers were led by 1st team all leaguer Scott Cooper, who averaged over 20 points and 11 rebounds per game, and guards Brian McKittrick fwho broke the seasonal and career records for assists with 102 and 188, respectivelyl and team-captain Rick Glosser who was se- cond on the team in scoring. Both were honorable mention All-Leaguers. xxGE
