lKHMSSTAGE ORGY Toga's, food, and Hayward High's humanities class could all be seen at this past year's Greek Orgy, held in F-wing on November 20, 1981 Students here prepared the food, decorations, and generally every- thing else having to do with the orgy while Steve Dimas, a true to life Greek, journeyed to Hayward High to invite their humanities class. The days were counted till the 20th. On THE day, as lunch started, cries of orgy!H could be heard throughout the school as the seniors rushed over to F-wing. The students danced, ate, competed in best legs contests for the men uCLASSYv and best arms contests for the women, flaunted their togas in a fashion show, tossed grapes into each other's mouths, and basi- cally had a good time. The men even left their mark in Tenny- son's history when they competed against the ladies in tug-of- war. The girls tied the rope to a tree, and the men practically uprooted the tree! The end result was a large rope burn around the circumference of the tree. The festivities lasted until 3 p.m., at which time Hayward High had to take their leave, F-wing was cleaned up, and students went home to nurse the beginnings of colds some had received as a result of parading around in their togas all day. 5 , Orgy as f5
