We are now prepared to go forth with a sense of accomplishment and a desire for fulfillment. During these years as a teacher of French, Mrs. Richardson was more than a faculty member-she was a friend. Her presence will he sadly missed hy all who knew and admired her, but her memory will live on within us. MRS. Although he was not famous by the world's standards, his sincerity and dedi- cation to our school system as a teacher, guidance counselor and superintendent is a memory of which we should all be proud. MR. WALTER B. INGALLS In the service of the Methuen Public Schools from Sept. 1931 to ,luly 20, 1965. Martha D. Lange A friend to her students, A teacher outstanding, Her efforts were aimed At always demanding The best from each pupil Who came to her class. She,d do all she could To help everyone pass. Sheid have before school A short practice session. Her wit and her patience Made quite an impression On faculty, parents, and all whom she taught. To do more than her job Was all that she sought. She now is retired, A rest she has earned, For from having her with us There's much we have learned. We,ve learned how to study Yet how to find pleasure By making the most Of our moments of leisure. So weid now like to dedicate This yearbook to you And wish you Cod's blessing In all that you do. You have given us much And youill long be remembered For your kindness, your friendship Your time to us rendered. We hope that this yearbook To you now imparts The knowledge that we Hold you close to our hearts. We thank you once more For the work that you've done To make schooldays fruitful And yet make them fun. We pray God will guide you, And to you his love send, For you werenit just a teacher, But also a friend. Administration Arthur F Baker Superintendent of Schools B.S. ED. Hyannis State College lVl. Q if . 4 W. On February 25th we were all in the gym. The ceiling was crepe, and the lights- they were dim. Outside the wind howled. and the snow softly l?l fell. But from inside the building. nobody could tell. The ball went as scheduled in spite of the snow, And now the Cadets were lined up in a row. The drill competition was keen and exciting. The whole atmosphere was extremely inviting. The queen and attendants were beautifully dressed. And happiness shone on the face of each guest. 1 r f X sf. 's fi, M, k . J l The grand march came next, with swords being arched And through them the happy underclassmen marched. The dancing began, led by Lee and Coleen. Such pleasure filled faces have never been seen. The movie, the banquet, the talent, the fun. It seemed that the ball had only begun When it drew to a close and the night was then passed. But we knew that the memories forever would last. We walked out the door taking one long last stare At the night that was precious to all who were there. E f-i fx if lg W X , U ggi N lzzyf' 6539 1- 1' Q 1, N Ji S, FQ!
